Job Description - Geographic Information Services Supervisor
In an effort to better reflect the knowledge and duties required of the Transportation Systems Senior Analyst, the role of Geographic Information Systems Supervisor has been created to replace the Senior Analyst role. The current position has been vacated due to retirement, allowing for a seamless transition into the creation of the new role. A successful candidate for this position will not only provide a broader scope of geographic and routing services to the department, but will also assume supervisory duties over the existing Technology Analyst position as well as Routing Specialists roles. The proposed salary of the GIS Supervisor is at the same level as that of the Senior Analyst position, resulting in no additional costs incurred by the District.
Recommend the replacement of the Transportation Systems Senior Analyst role with that of the Geographic Information Systems Supervisor role.
