07-26-2018 First Public Budget Hearing


The School Board of Brevard County, Florida met for the First Public Budget Hearing on July 26, 2018 at the Educational Services Facility, 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida. Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Eagle newspaper on Thursday, July 19, 2018. The advertisement of the 2018-19 tentative budget was advertised in the Saturday, July 21, 2018 edition of Florida Today. The affidavit of publication with a copy of the ad is filed in the Affidavit File in the Board Office.

Minutes: Pennie Zuercher, Chief Financial Officer, provided the Board and viewing audience information on the Proposed Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-19.  The presentation outline was: Enrollment Projections, Taxable Property Values, Proposed Mileage, Proposed Budget and Next Steps.
