Attachment: Tentative Budget Hearing Presentation 7-28-16.pdf
Minutes:

Pennie Zuercher, chief financial officer, facilitated the presentation.

At the conclusion of the presentation, Mr. Craig thanked Ms. Zuercher and her team for their efforts.   He commented that we continue to mention the 1.5 mil and the reduction from 2.0. The only reason he could see for it to continue to be included  is because of the debt that was incurred before.  He said that in order to understand the broader picture, we need to see what led up to that incursion of debt and suggested that we go back 20 years instead of 10.

Ms. Zuercher said that she would take that into consideration as we move into the Final Public Budget Hearing.

Mr. Craig also asked Ms. Zuercher when the Board would be able to have line item visibility in each cost center. Ms. Zuercher said it is available at this time.
