Agenda Item #8
Job Description - Supervisor-Risk & Project Management
The Office of Employee Benefits and Risk Management's Wellness Manager position is currently vacant. This position is integral to the district's entire wellness and employee benefits open enrollment process. With the implementation of employee health clinics, this position's duties need to change in order to address the needs of the department - specifically to coordinate all employee health clinic operations with Marathon Health in order to assure that all of their operations, wellness activities, and the district's wellness, risk, and benefits programs are coordinated properly.
In addition, this position will continue to work with the Employee Benefits staff's annual open enrollment process and work with the Risk Management staff in overseeing the department's loss control, claims handling, and management activities. This change will not incur any additional cost to the Board and will actually be a reduction in wages as the current position is moving from the non-bargaining level 20 to a non-bargaining level 19 on the salary scale.
