Merritt Island High School Cheer Squad trip to Memphis, TN

Members of the Merritt Island High School Cheer Squad are planning to attend and perform in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, TN as part of the Halftime Show with a celebrity performer.  They will also attend Master Dance classes.  This is the third consecutive year the cheerleaders have performed as part of a combined group made up of schools from around the nation under the direction of World Stride Performance Program.  Approximately five to seven students will be traveling with two chaperones who are Brevard County School Board employees.  The cheerleaders will travel to Memphis, TN either by plane or private vehicles as determined by their parents.  While in Memphis, transportation to the practice venue and the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium will be provided by World Stride Heritage Performances on an authorized bus line.  The trip is scheduled for December 26 - 30, 2014.  No school days will be missed.  The trip will be funded by various fundraisers.  There will be no cost to the District
