Entry of Final Order in Brevard County School Board v. Joyce D. Iloka; DOAH Case No. 09-000957
The School Board accepted the Superintendent's recommendation to terminate the employment of instructional employee, Joyce D. Iloka, at the February 10, 2009, meeting. Ms. Iloka timely requested an administrative hearing and the matter was forwarded to the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for formal proceedings on February 19, 2009. An administrative hearing was held on February 2, 3, and 5, 2010, and on June 5, 2010, the Honorable J.D. Parrish, Administrative Law Judge, entered a Recommended Order recommending that the School Board enter a final order terminating Ms. Iloka's employment for incompetency.
On June 23, 2010, Ms. Iloka filed exceptions to the ALJ's conclusions of law in paragraphs 45, 46 and 47 and the ALJ's recommendation in paragraph 50 of the Recommended Order to terminate her employment. On July 2, 2010, counsel for the School Board filed a response to the exceptions.
Enter the proposed Final Order adopting the Administrative Law Judge's Recommended Order and terminating the employment of instructional employee, Joyce, D. Iloka effective February 10, 2009.
