Job Description - Project Manager-Assessment Development
This job description has been revised based on district research and Board Member feedback since it was presented as an Information item on May 13, 2014.
Responsibilities include the coordination of the development of end-of-course assessments for all course and grade levels not assessed with the new Florida Standards Assessments, as required by Florida Statutes 1012.34 and 1008.22. In addition, this individual will develop and implement a system to annually distribute and administer the assessments and collect, analyze, and report student results for student and educator evaluation purposes. A status update will be provided to the School Board quarterly, and continued need for the position will be evaluated during the 2015-2016 budget planning cycle. District staff is pursuing partial grant funding for the position through Career Source Brevard.
Approve the job description and allocation for a Project Manager-Assessment Development, for the 2014-2015 school year.
