Contracted Services Agreement with Dr. Bradley Greene, Quality Schools Consultant

Discussion

Dr. Bradley Greene is a senior faculty member of the Glasser Institute and provides training for Brevard's Quality Schools.  The Quality School training is an ongoing initiative for a character education/bully-proof plan, Secondary Schools of National Prominence (SSNP) and an integral part of the School Improvement Plan.  This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) 2009 and is an on-going training required to support and build capacity in our quality schools.

*The costs for this training initiative includes:

  • Two basic training weeks for 40 participants to include both BPS and private schools (parentally placed ESE students)
  • Basic practicum week for private schools - 20 participants
  • Advanced training and application phases for 40 participants
  • Quality School Renewal conference and on-site school consultations

These training phases start in October 2009 and end June 30, 2010.

*The fees associated with this training will include the cost of materials, travel and facilities.



Recommendation

Approve the Contracted Services Agreement for Dr. Bradley Greene, senior faculty member of the Glasser Institute, in the amount of $79,130.00.
