09-09-2010 Special School Board Meeting
Agenda Item #9

Title
Budget Amendment #1 for the 2009-10 Special Revenue - Federal

Discussion

Changes for estimated revenues and apropriations are detailed in the attached amendment.

The amendment reflects an overall decrease of $5,057,193 in revenues and expenditures.

Title I, Title II, and IDEA received $3,166,689 less in funding than anticipated.  The remaining decreases are due to fewer funds being expended in 2009-10, with the remaining dollars rolling forward into 2010-11.

Changes in expenditure appropriations have also increased or decreased based on budget adjustments by individual schools and departments.
