Contract with David Benzel, Keynote Speaker for Parent Workshop
The annual Parenting in Today's World parent workshop strives to empower parents with the skills applicable to developing the "whole child". Parents will leave with skills to help their child develop emotionally, physically and academically. The keynote speaker, David Benzel, will provide practical strategies to help parents build more meaningful relationships with their children. These relationships are the foundation for parents becoming more involved in their children's educational experience. This foundation will also build confidence and competence for any endeavor throughout life. David Benzel is an experienced leadership speaker for conferences that target parents, athletes and coaches nationwide. He has 15 years of experience as a corporate leadership coach for companies such as Sprint, Allstate and Nextel.
The total cost of these services is $1,000.00 which includes a keynote address, 2 breakout sessions, materials and travel expenses.
Approve the contract between the Office of Title I and David Benzel for professional services, materials and travel in the amount of $1,000.00.
