Job Description – Director-Professional Standards and Labor Relations
In order to provide a more comprehensive alignment to the district’s strategic plan, the Division of Human Resources Services has created the role of Director of Professional Standards and Labor Relations to replace the previous job description for Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations.
This role will incorporate greater oversight to the adherence to professional standards and provide for the development, implementation, and management of professional standards programs necessary for achieving the goals and objectives of Brevard Public Schools. Additionally, this role will provide for the immediate support to legal counsel regarding employee compliance matters. This role will retain the responsibility to the duties of Chief Negotiator and will remain the primary resource for collective bargaining agreement interpretation.
