Eau Gallie High School Trip to New York City
Eau Gallie High School's Drama and Vocal Performance Departments would like to have their students participate in the Broadway experience. The students are actors, technical students or musicians involved in musical productions at Eau Gallie High.
The group is planning a trip to New York City on February 15-18, 2013. There will be 21 individuals participating in the trip, which includes four teachers, two parents and 15 students. The group will fly out of Orlando International Airport on Friday, February 15, and return on Monday, February 18. One day of school will be missed (February 15).
The total cost of the trip will be $1,275 per person. This includes airfare, transportation to and from the airport to the hotel, hotel for three night, three Broadway shows, and a visit to a museum. The group will be staying at the Milford Hotel in Manhattan.
Students are having fundraisers and are supplementing the cost. Every student will have the opportunity for fundraising. Parents are paying their own way. There will be no cost to the District.
Approve the trip request by Eau Gallie High School for students to participate in the Broadway experience in New York City on February 15-18, 2013.
