Thirty (30) students and five (5) adult chaperones plan to fly from Orlando to Washington, D.C. Some of the events the students will be participating in are tours of the D.E.A. Training Facility, the F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, and the U.S. Customs & Border Protection Agency Headquarters. They will also participate in tours of memorials, buildings and museums. Prior to leaving Washington, D.C., the students will tour the various exhibits of the Smithsonian.
The group plans to leave Orlando International Airport on Wednesday morning, December 8, 2010, and return on Saturday evening, December 11, 2010. Three days of school (December 8, 9, 10) will be missed. The cost for the trip is $835 per student for quad occupancy. The cost includes hotel rooms, meals, admissions, airline transportation and motorcoach transportation in the Washington, D.C. area.
The Law Academy will give the students opportunities to raise funds for the trip.
