Eau Gallie High School AFJROTC Cadet Orientation Flights Provided by the 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida (USAF Funded Curriculum in Action Field Trip)
The Eau Gallie High School AFJROTC program has been invited by the 920th Rescue Wing to participate in a HH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and C130 orientation flight on December 15-16, 2010. The invitation extends the offer to four chaperones (2 male and 2 female) and twenty student cadets. Cadets and chaperones will depart campus at approximately 9:30 a.m. each day via a county school bus and return to campus prior to school dismissal, approximately 2:30 p.m. The orientation flights include a comprehensive pre-flight briefing and a one-hour local training mission flight. The flights will originate and terminate at Patrick Air Force Base.
Approve the request for Eau Gallie High School AFJROTC cadets to participate in two orientation flights with the 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick Air Force Base on December 15-16, 2010.
