Bay Area Schools Purchasing Consortium Interlocal Agreement
The purpose of the attached Interlocal Agreement with the Bay Area Schools Purchasing Consortium is to form a cooperative purchasing organization for the purpose of maximizing the purchasing power of the member School Boards for goods and services in compliance with A§1001.42(25) and A§163.01, Florida Statutes. Each member School Board has determined that cooperative procurement strategies between like or similar agencies may lead to procurement efficiency and lower costs for common goods and services; each member School Board agrees to comply with applicable State of Florida competitive solicitation requirements, identify qualified suppliers, commodities, goods, and services for Consortium competitive solicitation opportunities; each member School Board agrees to preserve the integrity of the procurement process and procurement profession by adhering to the highest ethical standards; and each member School Board enters into the Agreement in compliance with A§1001.42(25) and A§163.01, Florida Statutes. This Agreement has been reviewed by the School Board Attorney.
Approve the attached Bay Area Schools Purchasing Consortium Interlocal Agreement.
