Eau Gallie High School Advanced Drama Students Trip to New York City
Eau Gallie High School advanced drama students would like to participate in the Broadway Student Summit experience in New York City. The students will learn techniques of acting and how to audition for roles. Those students considering to major in theatre will learn more about the business, how to prepare for a career in theatre, and be able to talk with professionals about opportunities in the field. Students will also see professional actors in several Broadway productions.
The trip is planned for February 18-21, 2011. There will be eleven (11) people attending, which includes three (3) chaperones (Sarah Monday, Angela Ward, and Gordon Schafer) and eight (8) students. The cost of the trip is $1,250 per person. Students/parents are responsible for the cost of the trip. There will be no cost to the District. One (1) day of school will be missed (February 18).
Approve the trip request by the Eau Gallie High School advanced drama students to travel to New York City, NY, on February 18-21, 2011, to participate in the Broadway Student Summit.
