Amendment #3 to Agreement for Design / Build Services for Additions and Renovations at Coquina, Imperial Estates and Mims Elementary Schools
McCree, Inc. was approved as the Design-Builder for the Additions and Renovations project at Coquina, Imperial Estates and Mims Elementary Schools at the June 12, 2006 Board meeting. The original Agreement contained a GMP of $10,000,000. Previously approved Amendments No. 1 and No. 2 increased the GMP to $15,895,504. Amendment No. 3 will decrease the GMP to $14,339,802.00.
The extension to the Contract Time is recognition of the delay in receiving a permit from the City of Titusville to construct off-site improvements at Imperial Estates Elementary School. This delay is considered Force Majeure, with a Time extension granted to remedy the delay.
Approve Amendment No. 3 to modify the existing Agreement for Design/Build Services with McCree, Inc. for Additions and Renovations at Coquina, Imperial Estates and Mims Elementary Schools to decrease the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) in the amount of $1,555,702.00 and extend the Contract Time by 68 days.
Accept the project as complete and authorize the release of retention.
