2013-2014 Salary Adjustment for Employees covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the School Board of Brevard County and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 78, Local 1010

Discussion
For the 2013-2014 fiscal year, the School Board previously approved a 1.5% pay increase for all employees covered by the  Collective Bargaining Agreement with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 78, Local 1010. The Superintendent recommends an additional increase of 2.985221675%, retroactive to July 1, 2013, bringing the total percentage increase in each cell on the salary schedule for 2013-2014 to 4.53%, an amount equal to that being offered to other employee groups.  (Proposed revised salary schedules attached.)


Recommendation

Approve an additional increase of 2.985221675% for all employees covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 78, Local 1010, retroactive to July 1, 2013, bringing the total percentage increase for 2013-2014 to 4.53%.
