H-6. Eau Gallie High School Drama and Vocal Department Trip to New York City, February 15-18, 2008
Eau Gallie High School's Drama and Vocal Performance Departments would like to have their students participate in the Broadway experience. The trip is planned for February 15 - 18, 2008. There will be 39 people attending, which includes two teachers (Sarah Munday and Jason Armstrong), ten parents, and 27 students. There will be no funds needed from the school or School Board. Students are having fundraisers and are supplementing the cost. Every student has had the opportunity for fundraising. If they have participated in all fundraising activities to the fullest, the out-of-pocket expenses will not exceed $200.00. Parents are paying their own way.
Plane tickets and play tickets have already been purchased.
One day of school, February 15th, will be missed. An itinerary is attached.
To approve the Eau Gallie High School Drama Club to travel to New York City for first-hand exposure to the Broadway experience.
