MISSION: TO SERVE EVERY STUDENT WITH EXCELLENCE AS THE STANDARD
Agenda Item #45
H-5. Consultant Agreement with Paulette Johnson and Brevard Public Schools
One requirement of the Carol M. White Physical Education Program Grant is a statistical analysis on Brevard’s Project “No Child Left Unfit,” which promotes physical activity and healthy eating. The analysis will consist of summarizing the data into tables and graphs and compiling frequencies, percentages, and calculating means and standard deviations, where appropriate. In addition, there will be statistical tests, such as cross tabulations with chi-squares test and t-test, to measure change from beginning to end of the study and interpret the results.
Approve the payment of $3,000 to Statistical Consultant, Paulette Johnson, for Year Three (3) Statistical Analysis required for the evaluation of Brevard’s Carol M. White Physical Education Program Grant entitled “No Child Left Unfit”. A copy of this grant is on file in the Offices of State and Federal Projects, Division of Curriculum and Instruction.
