Change Order #1 to Replacement of Existing HVAC Unit at Hoover Middle School

Discussion

On 06/12/12, The School Board approved Mid-State Mechanical Contractors to provide MEP Design/Build Services for the Replacement of an Existing HVAC Unit at Hoover Middle School for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) of $295,998.71.

 

The work was completed.  Reconciliation of unspent Contingency requested by the Owner has resulted in a deductive Change Order in the amount of ($21,081.40).

Recommendation

Approve Change Order #1 to Mid-State Mechanical Contractors Continuing Contract for MEP Design/Build Services, decreasing their Guaranteed Maximum Price by ($21,081.40) to $274,917.31 with no change to their Contract Time.
