If the Robotics team wins a Regional competition, they would like to attend the FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas. Approximately 17-23 students will participate. The three adult chaperones are both male and female. One chaperone is a current Brevard Public School employee, two (2) are Level A Plus volunteers with Brevard Public Schools. The team will travel by plane and depart Orlando International Airport after school on  April 18.  (Itinerary attached.)

The team will be housed at a FIRST  authorized hotel closest to the event. Students will either ride in rental vans, charter buses, walk, or take public transportation from the hotel to the George R. Brown Convention Center. Students will eat at the hotel, nearby restaurants or event concessions.

Qualifying matches will be held on April 20 -22 and the Elimination/Championship Matches will be held the afternoon of April 22.  The team will depart Houston on Sunday, April 23 in the morning and arrive at Orlando International Airport later that day.
