Professional Service Agreements for Teaching American History Grant
The Teaching American History (TAH) grant requires partnering with agencies who specialize in presenting seminars, colloquies, and field experiences about American history. The TAH grant program will utilize the services of professional organizations to deliver the American history professional development to 40 participating teachers.
Two agency partners will deliver their services of summer travel study, onsite summer workshops and colloquia. The contracts include total costs of service during the grant period.
Gilder-Lehrman Institute (GLI: $30,000, $45,650, $32,500, $34,000 = $142,150
National Council for History Education (NCHE: $34,500, $34,500, $34,500 = $103,500). Agency Agreements and BPS Contract for Service Agreements for each are attached.
The Teaching American History grant award and partner information was approved at the July 14 Board meeting.
Approve the Service Agreements with the partners listed to conduct professional development activities per the TAH grant.
