Salary Adjustments for Non-Bargaining Personnel
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following non-bargaining salary adjustments, in accordance with the vision and past practice of Brevard Public Schools in providing equitable salary packages for all employee groups:
A. Instructional non-bargaining employees, including Principals, Assistant Principals, Coordinators, Directors and above, will receive an adjustment in accordance with the COLA and Performance Pay model approved for members in the instructional bargaining unit (1.0 = Highly Effective, .75 = Effective, .375 = COLA), with an average salary increase of 5.9% (including fringe). The salary adjustment will be distributed over the remaining pay periods in the 2015-2016 school year.
B. Non-instructional non-bargaining employees, as approved by the Superintendent, will receive a 5.9% adjustment (includes salary + fringe), effective July 1, 2015, to be distributed over the remaining pay periods in the 2015-2016 school year. This percentage is equivalent to the total salary and fringe package approved for the instructional bargaining unit through the negotiation process.
Recommend approval of the 2015-2016 salary adjustments for non-bargaining employees.
