Enhancement for Non-Bargaining Personnel - 2016-17
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following actions for non-bargaining personnel in accordance with the vision of Brevard Public Schools in providing an enhanced work-life balance:
A. Non-Instructional and Instructional Non-Bargaining 12-month Employees will receive a reduction in workdays from a 261-day calendar to 255-day calendar. As a result, the following days will be non-work days for these employees: December 28, 29, and 30, 2016 and January 3, 4, and 5, 2017. The 255-day calendar will be effective in perpetuity.
B. Instructional, Non-Bargaining Administrators working 9, 10, or 11-month calendars will receive their Pay For Performance as follows: HE - $745; E - $558.
C. Non-Instructional, Non-Bargaining Employees working 9, 10, or 11-month calendars will receive a 1.30% salary enhancement including fringe.
A new Bereavement Leave benefit will be added for all employees offering a 1, 2, or 3-day leave of absence based upon location of services.
Recommend approval of the Non-Bargaining Employee enhancements for 2016-2017.
