Florida Power-Library School Awards

Discussion
Present to this year's winners of the state's Florida Power-Library School designation. The state designation provides recognition for schools having an outstanding library media program. The award references a state rubric reflecting best practices in the field and requires schools to meet the outstanding level of the rubric in the areas of:  *collaborative instruction  *curriculum support  *resource management  *program administration *learning environment  *professional leadership  

Winners are from the following schools: 
 NEW SCHOOLS: 
 * Andrew Jackson Middle 
 * Jupiter Elementary

 RENEWAL SCHOOLS: 
 * Manatee Elementary 
 * Palm Bay Magnet High 
 * Satellite High 
 * Sea Park Elementary 
 * Saturn Elementary 
 * Sea Park Elementary 
 * West Melbourne School for Science


Recommendation
Recognize the media specialists, principals, and media assistants from the eight schools who are recipients of this year's award.
