The Titusville High School NJROTC Orienteering Team has qualified for the 2017 Navy National Orienteering Championships. Orienteering is a competitive sport that involves navigation over unfamiliar terrain with a map and compass. Orienteers use a myriad of problem solving skills and experience to choose the fastest route.
In preparation for the Navy Nationals held in February, the NJROTC Orienteering Team plans to participate in the South East Interscholastic Championships (SEIS) to be held at Pine Mountain, Georgia on January 14-15, 2017. The group will depart Titusville for SEIS on January 13, 2017 and return Sunday, January 15, 2017. Lodging will be at the Wingate by Wyndham, 103 Wingate Terrace, LaGrange, Georgia.
